But don’t worry — if everything goes smoothly, the outages will only last a few seconds. In the worst case, you might need to restart your router once.
Why are we doing this? We’re upgrading your internet connection and increasing the capacity of our uplink for the dormitories.
on On Friday, the working group, along with its new members, will visit our technology in the dorms in Hohenheim. We expect to arrive at Egilofstraße around 5 PM and from there, we will visit Welfenstraße and Schwerzstraße. Whether a short tour of the campus or a visit to our dorms at Chausseefeld is possible will be decided spontaneously.

The reason for the tour is our new members from Tübingen and our first interested person from Hohenheim! Besides getting to know the locations, we hope to gain insights into the needs of the dorms, which we often view as “outlying areas.”

The reason is probably overheating.
The StuWe-IT decided to solve the problem themself and will solve the problem on Monday or Tuesday.

die Störung wurde vorübergehend beseitigt und Bewohner die sich per Mail gemeldet haben entsprechend informiert. Zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt werden zur dauerhaften Lösung vor Ort Verkabelung und Stromanschlüsse geregelt angefasst, sowie andere Geräte verbaut werden.

Big parts of the buildings are offline.
The case is still in the hands of the StuWe-IT, the Netz-AK has no access to the devices and can not help you.
